A December to Remember Gala

The annual gala, A December to Remember, raises funds to support Alzheimer’s disease research at UCI MIND, Orange County’s only state and federally funded Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.  Widely respected among the scientific community, UCI MIND is one of only 30 such centers in the nation and has been awarded highly competitive grant funding each year.  However, additional funding is necessary to move researchers closer to prevention, treatment, and a cure. The annual gala aims to generate the additional, vital philanthropic support required to take Alzheimer’s disease research to the next level.

The 2016 A December to Remember gala, held at the luxurious Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, attracted over 300 philanthropists and raised $375,000 for Alzheimer’s disease research at UCI MIND.  Save the date for our 2017 event to be held on December 2, 2017!  For more information, please contact Linda Scheck, Director of Development at 949.824.3251 or lscheck@uci.edu.
