About the Speaker:
Ronald C. Petersen, MD, PhD is an international leader in brain disease research and served as personal neurologist to President Ronald Reagan during his battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Currently, Dr. Petersen directs the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Over the course of his tenure, Dr. Petersen has authored more than 700 peer-reviewed journal articles and five books on brain aging, memory disorders, and Alzheimer’s disease. He is regarded as one of most influential clinician scientists of our time in the field of brain disease research.
