Study at UC Irvine to see if exercise can slow down Alzheimer’s disease

“We find that exercise promotes healthy brain aging and improves a person’s cognitive function, and basically really makes the people feel better,” said Dr. Carl Cotman with UC Irvine. … Cotman will begin recruiting 300 people to take part in the one-year study at UC Irvine. “We’ll be looking at generally sedentary people that are willing to commit to that program that are basically 75 and older,” said Cotman. full story >
